At Sleep Sounds (“App”), we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use our app, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data Collected

Our app operates on a minimum data collection principle:

• Usage data (anonymous): Anonymous analytics data such as which sounds are listened to, session durations, and in-app interactions. This data is not associated with your identity.
• Subscription information: Premium subscription purchases are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
• Device preferences: Settings such as reminder time and sound preferences are stored only on your device (UserDefaults).

2. Analytics Service

We use the Mixpanel analytics service to improve the app. Data collected through Mixpanel includes:

• Number of app opens
• Sounds listened to and their durations
• Subscription status (premium/free)
• Timer usage statistics

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data may only be shared in the following cases:

• When required by law
• Anonymous analytics data with our service provider, Mixpanel

4. Data Storage

Your on-device preferences are stored only on your device. When you delete the app, this data is also deleted. Anonymous analytics data is stored on Mixpanel servers for a limited period.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you notice that your child has provided data, please contact us.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights:

• Request access to your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Change your analytics data collection preference

7. Notifications

We request notification permission for the sleep reminder feature. This permission is entirely optional and can be turned off at any time from your device settings.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Important changes will be notified through the app.
